Fashion has never been just about clothing for me
It has always been about courage, identity, and telling stories without saying a word.
My name is Cecilia, the founder and creative designer behind S24 By Cecilia, a luxury African fashion brand proudly based in Canada.
My journey began in Nigeria in 2014, where I discovered my love for transforming beautiful African fabrics into timeless pieces that celebrate women. What started with a sewing machine and a dream became a purpose to create clothing that makes every woman feel confident, elegant, and unforgettable.
A new chapter
Rebuilding the dream in Canada
In 2024, my family and I began a new chapter in Canada. Like many immigrants, starting over wasn't easy. I left behind familiarity, clients, and the business I had spent years building. I had to rebuild my brand from the ground up in a new country, while balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship.
There were moments of doubt, sleepless nights, and challenges that tested my resilience. But every stitch reminded me why I started. I wasn't just making clothes. I was preserving culture, celebrating African craftsmanship, and proving that dreams can thrive anywhere in the world.
